About ABLE

Established in 1998, the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) is a not-for-profit pan-India forum that represents the Indian biotechnology sector. Our membership spans biopharma, agri-biotech, industrial biotech, bioinformatics, and medical devices.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, ABLE works closely with government bodies, including the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, and state governments to shape a conducive ecosystem for research, innovation, and commercial success. Our mission is to make India a global biotech hub by 2030.

We provide a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, business development, and policy advocacy. Our initiatives are designed to address the unique challenges faced by startups, SMEs, and large enterprises in the life sciences domain.
